Defination of Autocracy

An autocracy is a form of government in which one person possesses unlimited power. An autocrat is a person (such as a monarch) ruling with unlimited authority. The term autocrat is derived from the Greek αὐτοκρατία: αὐτός ("self") and κρατείν ("rule"), and may be translated as "one who rules by himself". It is distinct from oligarchy ("rule by the few") and democracy ("rule by the people"). Although similar in definition to despot, tyrant and dictator, the term autocrat has neither negative nor positive connotations.

Comparison with other forms of government

Autocracy and totalitarianism are related concepts. Autocracy is defined by one individual having unlimited legislative and executive power, while totalitarianism extends to regulating every aspect of public and private life. Totalitarianism does not imply a single ruler, but extends to include absolute rule by any faction or class of elites who recognize no limit to their authority.

Autocracy differs from military dictatorship, as these often take the form of "collective presidencies" such as the South American juntas. However, an autocracy may be totalitarian or be a military dictatorship.

The term monarchy also differs in that it emphasizes the hereditary characteristic, though some Slavic monarchs, specifically Russian Emperors, included the title "autocrat" as part of their official styles.[citation needed] This usage originated in the Byzantine Empire, where the term autokratōr was traditionally employed in Greek to translate the Latin imperator, and was used along with Basileus to mean "emperor". This use remains current in the modern Greek language, where the term is used for any emperor (e.g. the Emperor of Japan), regardless of the actual power of the monarch. Historically, many monarchs ruled autocratically but eventually their power was diminished and dissolved with the introduction of constitutions giving the people the power to make decisions for themselves through elected bodies of government.

The autocrat needs some kind of power structure to rule. Most historical autocrats depended on their nobles, the military, the priesthood or other elite groups. As such, it can be difficult to draw a clear line between historical autocracies and oligarchies.

Rules for miss universe

HOW OLD ARE THE COMPETITIONS?
The Miss Universe and Miss USA competitions began as concurrent events in 1952 in Long Beach, California. Miss Teen USA made its debut in 1983 in Lakeland, Florida.

ARE THESE COMPETITIONS SEPARATE FROM THE MISS AMERICA PAGEANT?
Yes. In 1952, Catalina Swimsuits, formerly a Miss America sponsor, founded Miss Universe and Miss USA in Long Beach, California as product promotion. Although some women compete in both Miss USA and Miss America, the two systems are completely separate. Miss USA goes on to represent her country at the Miss Universe competition.

ARE THE PAGEANTS HELD IN A DIFFERENT PLACE EACH YEAR?
Now they are. When they were initiated, the Miss Universe and Miss USA competitions were held in Long Beach, California. Eight years later in 1960, the two competitions moved to Miami Beach, Florida, where they remained until 1971. Since 1972, they have been separate live television specials that are telecast from different locations around the country and the globe.

HOW ARE THE SITES CHOSEN?

The Miss Universe Organization works throughout the year with private enterprise, State and City government officials and, in the case of the Miss Universe competition, with foreign governments to establish the Host Site for each production. The city or country offering the optimal venue and support to the organization is chosen.

HOW MANY WOMEN COMPETE?
In the case of Miss Universe, between 75 and 85 countries send a candidate to compete. For Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, 51 contestants participate in the competition.

ARE THERE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
Yes. Miss Universe and Miss USA contestants must be at least 18 years of age and under 27 years of age by February 1st in the year they compete in the national competition. Miss Teen USA candidates must be at least 14 and under 19 years of age by February 1st in the year they compete in the national competition.

CAN A DELEGATE COMPETE MORE THAN ONCE?
Contestants may compete more than once in the preliminary (state) competition but may only compete in Miss Universe and Miss USA once. Miss Teen USA may compete in Miss USA but only after her reign has ended and after she has reclaimed her state title.

ARE CONTESTANTS REQUIRED TO HAVE A COACH?
No. While some feel more prepared when they work with an experienced person who can give them tips on competition, many women have won titles without any outside training. Candidates also turn to their state and national directors for assistance as the directors are experienced in providing effective counsel about the competition. Generally, state and national directors provide contestants with the confidence and experience needed to compete.

CAN CONTESTANTS BE MARRIED?
No. contestants may not be married or pregnant. They must not have ever been married, not had a marriage annulled nor given birth to a child. The titleholders are also required to remain single throughout their reign.

HOW DO CONTESTANTS GET TO THE NATIONAL COMPETITION?
For Miss USA and Miss Teen USA some cities and all states have preliminary competitions, which are produced by local and state directors. The winner of the city competition goes on to compete in the state event for her home city; state winners go on to the national competition. However, a delegate may enter a state competition without having won a city title. Miss Universe contestants must win their respective competitions to compete in the contest. In the case of the United States, Miss USA goes on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe pageant.

WHEN ARE THE COMPETITIONS HELD?
Miss USA is always the first event of the year and is generally held in February or March. Miss Universe follows in the Spring, with Miss Teen USA held at the end of Summer.

WHO TELEVISES THE COMPETITIONS?
NBC Universal broadcasts the Miss USA and Miss Universe competitions live during prime time in the United States. NBC Universal distributes the shows to international markets (approximately 170 countries). The three events are packaged together for international distribution.

WHO PRODUCES THE LIVE TELEVISED EVENTS?
The MISS UNIVERSE®, MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® specials are produced by the Miss Universe Organization, a Donald J. Trump and NBC Universal joint venture.

rules for miss world

Rule 1(Eat Every 2.5 – 3 Hours) This usually equates to eating six small meals per day, but I cannot stress enough that this only works if your meals are nutritious and in small proportions; you can’t eat six dinners a day and fight fat.
Rule 2(Only Eat Until Full) If you can master this habit of only eating until full (you will be able to utilise the benefits of Rule No.3), you are headed for spectacular results.
Rule 3 (Eat A Variety Of Foods - Practicing Moderation)You can eat whatever you like, providing that you don't 'over-do it'. I encourage a day where you are less restrictive in what you eat than other days so you give yourself some freedom and don’t fell like your on a ‘diet’.
Rule 4(Change Your Beliefs About Yourself) Set yourself some high standards. Just because you may have failed in your attempts in the past, it does not mean that you can not succeed this time. Accept the importance of supportive beliefs rather than self-destructive and the self-defeating type actions. Realise that in order for a person to quickly and permanently change - then they will need to create what is known as leverage. They will need to create many reasons for wanting to make this change (the more reasons the better) only by doing this, can they realise the many benefits that will be derived if the change is made. This can be further reinforced or leveraged by attaching immense pain to no change. However, do not focus primarily on the pain aspect - focus more on the benefits to be derived from the new 'you'. In your imagination picture the ‘new you’, believe he / she is real. By doing this, you are literally sowing the seed to bring the ‘new you’ to life. There is no need to use stress and strain to force a mental state, just do it in a relaxed state without 'forcing' any particular feelings or thoughts. Guide your imagination - don't push it. The best times to perform this mental exercise / visualization are upon awakening in the morning and before sleep at night.
Rule 5 (Do Not Eat High Fat Foods In Combination With High Sugar Foods) Understand how eating high fat food in combination with high sugar foods (especially late at night) maximises fat retention. High sugar foods elevate Insulin levels, the higher the Glycemic index, the greater the Insulin response. One role of Insulin as a potent hormone is to store dietary fats, therefore, if you eat a high fat food with a high sugar food, you are placing your body in a physiological state to store dietary fat and you are also supplying the dietary fat that will ultimately be stored.Eating the high fat / high sugar combination just before going to bed escalates the problem as your body will store even more fat during sleep due to the bodies inactivity.
Rule 6 – (Weight Train To Metabolise Fat Longer) Weight training has a large effect at burning body fat indirectly. This is due to the fact, that muscle requires more energy just to exist than fat does. Your metabolism becomes faster from weight training regularly. An added benefit is the temporary increase of metabolism for many hours after weight training. For maximum fat loss, it is best to exercise early in the day (such as in the morning) to take full advantage of this fact.
For long term, lasting results, choose a routine that:
· You Enjoy
· Fits in with your lifestyle (Time constraints etc)
· Is sufficiently intense to stimulate muscular growth with out over-training and allows sufficient time between body parts for full recovery
When you finally settle on a system of training that benefits you, stick to it. Do not keep changing just for the sake of change. If you hit a sticking point with a routine that has been working well, just make subtle changes to get it working again.
Rule 7 (Do Some Aerobic Work)
Aerobic work burns fat calories. The most efficient intensity for fat burning is conversation pace. Weight bearing exercises such as running and walking burn more calories per hour than non-weight bearing such as swimming - so if you are limited for time, do weight bearing exercises.
Preferably do the aerobic work straight after weight training when your Glycogen levels are low. This will help burn more body fat. Two to Three, 30 - 45 minute sessions per week, are sufficient. Do not overdo the aerobic work.
Rule 8 – (Take The Fat Weight off with a High Protein Low Carb Type Diet)
A high protein low carbohydrate diet is not for everyone and should not be used for long term but for short term fat loss and lean mass retention it is very effective.
Rule 9 – (Regulate Your Protein Intake)
You don’t have to be on a high protein low carbohydrate diet for this rule, it applies to anyone weight training and wanting to obtain a leaner physique. You need to keep your protein intake at around 2.2 grams per kilo of bodyweight per day. This will help minimize the chances of losing valuable muscle tissue.
Rule 10 – (Learn The Previous Nine Rules And Put Some Of Them Immediately Into Practice, So That They Become A Habit)
We are creatures of habit; the trick is to become a 'master of good habits' rather than a 'slave to bad habits'.
Make working out FUN; bring a partner, do something different, try training at different times of the day, get a personal trainer to motivate you.
